Poker Staking

Poker staking is when a person or persons invest in a poker player in order to help a poker player cover the cost of entering an event in exchange for a share of whatever prize money the poker player wins. This is a very common practice in the poker community. Some prime examples are in 1997 when Billy Baxter staked Stu Ungar in the World Series of Poker Main Event and Ungar went on to win the whole thing. In the following year's main event, Mike Matusow backed Scotty Nguyen when the "Prince of Poker" won it all. Huck Seed backed eventual WSOP main event champion Brad Daugherty in 1991. Jamie Gold's fee was staked when he won in 2006. I think you get the picture. Now you too can get a piece of an established poker pro. Through Chip Me Up, you can buy "shares" of pros like Tony G, Erik Seidel, Kathy Liebert, Brandon Adams and many of the hottest up and coming internet poker pros. To date, Chip Me Up has paid out over $18,000,000 to people who have invested in their sponsored players. Get in on the poker staking action and the chance for a big payday.
